An Cha is a product of the An Hui Province and thus so named.

An Cha is something like Pu'er but made with An Hui's tea. Kind of
nice when you follow the process mentally - good flavor of Qi Men area tea leaf
(in the same area as Qi Men Red), compressed, wrapped in bamboo leaves (An Hui
produces a lot of tea, and bamboo as well) so the tea takes on a trace of bamboo
flavor, fermented
to bring flavor to a higher level, then put in a traditional bamboo basket.
Quite a nice and natural idea.

Suggested brewing parameters - TEA:WATER (by weight) 3:100. Gaiwan is the most
convenient tool. Tea in gaiwan, then 90C water. 1 min per brew but you can leave
the tea in the gaiwan if you don't pour it out into other cups to drink. A
longer (or much longer) brew time won't hurt because An Cha is quite Pu'er-ish.
Can last 3-5 infusions.

An Cha comes in little bamboo baskets. A basket carries about 300g/10.5oz of
tea. (no basket though for ordering of 100g or 200g)
