Comment 2007

Good crop this year. Even better, price of Fur Peak doesn't go up by 30+% like other well-known teas (because of China's booming economy).

Suggested brewing parameters - TEA:WATER (by weight) 1:65. Better use a glasses to watch the leaves dance though a gaiwan is just fine. Tea in glasses first then water. Use 90C water for the first infusion to open up leaves, then back to 80C for coming up infusions. Brew time = 3 mins (WOW, but that is what Kam found out after test drinking more than too much of this tea). Leaves can last 3 infusions. Other rules for brewing green tea applies.

General Info on Huang Shan Fur Peak

Huang Shan Fur Peak is a member of the 10 most famous Chinese teas. Kam would say, it deserves it's ranking on the 10-most famous list.

High quality flavor with a low key sweetness. Smooth on the tongue. Lovely yellowish green tea color.
