There has been no supply of Pu'er cake in our tea section for a long long time
after the last good
batch ran out. After much searching, Kam finally finds another batch of
Pu'er cake that is worth putting on the site. This is a processed cake (or
"matured cake" in Chinese) dated 2003 that delivers nice aged flavor.
Years of fermentation is what enriches this Pu'er's color, aroma and flavor.

Pu'er is not the high aroma and floral kind of tea. You have to have certain
degree of "Chinese taste" to be able to love this tea. Pu'er is very neutral
to the body. It is a mild herbal medicine that helps digestion and clears up
stuffy stomachs. That is why Pu'er is one of the most popular Hong Kong dim sum
restaurant tea. Also, if you prepare a big bottle of this Pu'er and drink it
after serious sweating, you will find it as natural as your body fluid. You feel
like it's part of your system's liquid rather than a beverage. Try it, Kam is
not kidding.

Kam tested brewing parameters: 5 tea : 70 water by weight, brew time 10-30
sec. Lasts about 7 infusions. Or you can put a little in a big ceramic teapot
and drink for a couple of hours.
